Before we start cutting, lifting, or hauling anything off your factory floor, we want the terms to be clear. This section sets out what counts as a dismantling job, what we take away, and where our responsibility begins and ends. Read it once, and you will know exactly what to expect when the crew arrives.
Factory floor clearance
We strip hydraulic presses, brake presses and stamping cells down to the frame. Hydraulic fluid is drained and contained, electrical cabinets are isolated, then the main ram and bed are lifted out in sections that fit your loading dock.
For cement and mineral processing plants, we cut refractory-lined shells into manageable rings with plasma torches. Drive trains, trunnion bearings and gearboxes are removed separately so the remaining steel shell can be hauled away as clean scrap.
Before a crane is dropped, we verify the runway beams, end carriages and hoist trolley loads. The bridge is lowered onto cribbing, the hoist is unbolted first, and the girders are cut into transportable lengths without disturbing adjacent production bays.
Large reciprocating compressors and turbine packages sit on concrete foundations with embedded anchor bolts. We cut the skid free, lift the driver and driven units separately, and break out the foundation only after the mechanical equipment has left the building.
Once the wreck is down, we sort ferrous and non-ferrous material into separate piles, torch off copper windings and aluminium heat exchangers, and load the steel onto flatbeds with a magnet crane. The floor is swept and left ready for your next layout.
Storage tanks, hoppers and silos are purged and gas-tested before entry. Our crew works in pairs with a standby attendant, uses forced-air ventilation, and cuts the shell from the top down so no one stands under a suspended section.
